  Guess what... someone hit my parked Mini Cooper AGAIN. :S

  back in july of 2006 someone hit my parked mini cooper in a parking lot and then tried to say it was my fault... even though i wasn't even in the car.

  after laughing at the other driver, their insurance paid for my repairs.

  omg, dad's been calling all day and i've been hiding.

  hubby's finally called him to tell him we don't want to talk about it.

  after hubby had been on the phone with him for almost an hour (he was on the phone outside while i was inside cooking), i hear my dad's voice!

  It would all depend on what the offense was. Certain people have strengths over others. It's not something I could just pick three people and go with it.

  start with apostacy maybe. Or if you're feeling a little more naughty ya could go with fornication. OR if you are feeling rebellious, you could start with drugs (maybe just a little weed). Just a few thoughts to get ya going

  if you had your chance who would you want to meet face to face, talk to them, spend some time picking their brain, have a dinner with, get to know better?.

  I don't normally subscribe to these types of threads as people that get left out must feel a bit sad. I also remember people by their avatar and often can't remember their name.

  I think this is a great point. One that has been echoed through this thread.

  I know when I first thought of the question, I thought yes I know I would love to meet just about everyone!!!

  However, that being said, I do know that there are some that I talk to or email back and forth with out side of JWD. These ones are people I have not met in real time, but I have gotten to know pretty well and so it would be great to be able to hug a few of these people someday. And the thing is, there are people that I did miss!!!

  So if you didn't see your name on my "list", don't fret. I think of many of you often and wonder how you are doing!!!

  there was a very strange announcement given out at the meeting last night in all congregations in a western european country .

  the borg here are at a critical stage in their court room battles.

  Right but if I recall when I was young marking was just the same. Later when we had talks saying we were not to publicly mark someone...it was done hush hush and the person was treated as if df'ed. Still the same. Might as well have been as dead to the congregation as I am. My brother keeps saying the congregation has changed....but until they come back and say...we were WRONG. WE WERE wrong and clear the name and all the names of the people they f***ed over, I cannot see how they have changed at all. This admit no fault thing is full of crap. For instance.

  BINGO. That's just it. They won'd Technically df or da the person necessarily, but marking allows the congregation to "mark" them so that they are treated the same way.
  Again, the use of the word conscience is bulls***.
